waiting for daddy...

It was quiet down the hall where I knew my son had walked down not too much earlier, so I went to go check on what he was up to (because usually quiet doesn't mean a good thing!) This is what I found...


Asleep by the bathroom door, waiting for daddy to be finished getting ready for the day after we all spent a lazy morning as a family. This little guy was not feeling well, and was tuckered out by 10:00 in the morning.

We didn't dare move him in fear of him waking up, so he slept in the hallway for another 30 minutes...just a quick little cat nap to re-energize himself for the rest of the day! Thankfully, he took another, much longer, and much needed nap in the afternoon!

    Oh how sweet is that!! There are a bunch of us who posted pics of sleeping babies. You are number four on the sleeping baby list. I am so curious to see how many of us there are. :)

    the only time when "quiet" is a good thing...I love how kids can just fall asleep anywhere!

    What an adorable picture. It is so amazing how kids just make do and can sleep in any place in almost any way.

    How funny is that?! What a sweet little guy. (I could use a little 30 minute nap myself...wonder if anyone would notice me sleeping in the hall?)

    Aww, he's too cute! I wouldn't have moved him either. When mine were little my main rule here was don't EVER wake up a sleeping baby (and if you do they're your responsibility until they fall back asleep.)

    That's so cute! Maya fell asleep on the couch a few days ago while I was painting her name on her bedroom wall. I love it when they can fall asleep on their own:)
