Disclaimer: This is NOT my idea. I'm just good at replicating. There's no way I could make this stuff up! I did, however, adapt it to work for my 3-year old and the kind of ingredients we happened to have on hand. If you want to see the original idea from KABOOSE, check it out HERE.
Easter Bunny Cracker Treats
We're always up for a fun snack around our house! I ran across this idea and thought this would be so much fun and easy to make! So, we decided to give it a whirl...
I adapted the ingredients a bit since we didn't have some of them on hand. The ingredients that you would need are small slivers of carrots (whiskers), pretzel sticks broken in halves (ears), cheese stick circles (cheeks), raisins torn into smaller pieces (eyes), Craisins torn into smaller pieces (nose), cream cheese, and round crackers
Of course, the ingredients all fit perfectly in a muffin tin!!
Our masterpieces!
It was a bit tricky using the smaller size crackers. The original recipe suggests using water crackers which are a bit larger, but you work with what you got, right?
I was actually a little surprised that Mikayla gobbled these right up. It must have been the cream cheese! I ate two and Mikayla ate two and when they were gone she asked if we could make some more and I said...of course!
Doesn't she look so proud of her work?

Cute! Cute! Cute! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese are the cutest little things!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute. I love the picture of your daughter and her bunny. I get most of my ideas from elsewhere as well. Nothng wrong with that. If you put all of your effort into coming up with the projects I don't know if you would have enough energy to implement them! Thank you for participating in Kid Friendly Friday. Just like you said - it's such a good motivation seeing all of the shared ideas!
ReplyDeleteWe are SO doing this one....my oldest is not so artsy but if it involves food....we're there!! THANKS!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, those are precious! I am totally going to copy you this weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteCarrie
Those are so cute! My boys would love making them!
ReplyDeleteThese are both cute and tasty! I have made some some similar treats before and they are tasty. My kids at the Daycare loved them too.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love is crafts that one can make and take a photo of. Then put the photo in an album and then eat it so you don't have to find a home for them to live. (sorry about being wordy)
Thanks for sharing this with us.
