On our way home from Mikayla's doctor appointment this morning, I thought to myself...
Self, it's about time you do something fun for your kids' lunch!
So, for today's Muffin Tin Monday, we (me) decided that everything on the menu should be something with cheese.
top row: cheese quesadilla, peaches (they look like cheese, don't they?), cottage cheese
bottom row: chunks of cheese, cheese crackers, and cream cheese on a bagel

Looks like she approves!
{Hopefully her digestive system will, too! *wink*}

Where's Austin, you might ask? Somewhere far away from all this cheese. Tell me: What little 2-year old won't eat cheese!? He did end up eating the cheese stick (shocker!) and the peaches, so 2 out of 6 isn't too bad...for him.
Happy Muffin Tin Monday! It's been a long time...

Hey, you can't have cottage cheese without peaches!
ReplyDeleteLoved all the cheesy ideas. Your blog is the one that introduced me to this muffin tin carnival...thanks!
ReplyDeleteOH my gosh, that is the cutest thing ever!! Where did you get that little flower tray?? I MUST have a couple! I want to get a little more creative for my girls too. Thanks for the inspiration! :)

ReplyDeleteI forgot about muffin tin Mondays. I need to start it up again. Thanks for the cute reminder.
ReplyDeleteVery cute idea and I love all those foods. YUM
ReplyDeleteCute idea! I have one child that will not eat cheese too.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen that lady on flickr who makes the most elaborate lunches for her kids and then takes pictures of them? It is so crazy fascinating!
Hope you are having a wonderful week so far!
XOXO

Trey is also a huge fan of cheese, so he would have loved this meal.
ReplyDeleteI love the muffin tin, I am totally going to have to find a cute tin and do this activity with Trey.
I also used the muddie buddies recipe, and took it to the lake. It was a huge hit, thanks for the tip about putting the mix in the freezer.
Have a great Monday!
lol at the cheesy peaches! Or is that peachy cheese? *Ü*
ReplyDeleteevery child loves cheese at 2 1/2 , even my extremely picky eater!!!
ReplyDeletelike that you did a cheese theme muffin tin, i think i need to try that ! thanks for sharing
Love your adorable pink flower pan!
ReplyDeleteThe cottage cheese looks yummy too and yes, she does approve:-)!
I LOVE the muffin tin idea...though we have never tried it! I would have to buy some cuter muffin tins if I was going to play along because mine are so old! All the cheesey food would make Grant happy, but Henry says he doesn't like cheese! He eats it all the time, he just doens't know it!
ReplyDeleteNow that's my kind of meal...cheese. My kids take after me and love cheese.
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy to me! I might have to try the muffin tin idea sometime!!

Yum! I would like that muffin tin. I love cheese!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, thanks for all the comments on my blog. You're so sweet! I hope you've been having a great summer, as well. I am starting to get back in my routine so hopefully I will have more time to blog and catch up on my faves! Have a great day!
Cheese makes me so happy, so I really LOVE this tin!
ReplyDeleteOoo, yum, cheese. I love your flower tin. My little guy loved cheese until I put it on a plate with some lunch meat. He boycotted cheese for the longest time because it reminded him of the meat. LOL. Don't you love picky eaters? Thankfully he's a fan of cheese again.
ReplyDeleteCheese is a staple, doggoneit! Cara doesn't like it either, though. She's a weirdo.
ReplyDeleteVery cute, love the flower tins!
