September and the beginning of October here in Oregon have been amazing! I wore capris and flip flops yesterday on a walk to the store. That's unheard of this time of year! We're usually known for rain, rain, and more rain here in the Pacific NW. I'm sure it's coming, but for now we are loving this weather and how perfect it is for all of the Fall time fun!

Thank you to everyone who participated in September's craft challenge by making something Fall or Halloween-themed. We had 26 participants!! I also want to say thank you to the readers who took the time to go check out all of the great crafts and left comments. The purpose for this craft challenge is to inspire and be inspired and we are all doing that for each other!
So...one lucky participant was randomly chosen to win some fun Fall/Halloween crafty goodies: 2 packages Halloween stickers, 1 package Fall stickers, 12 Halloween 6x6 patterned paper, a Halloween card (made by me!) and a Halloween themed magazine by Better Homes & Garden. And I may just throw in a surprise!

Christmas is coming up (only 11 weeks away...not to stress you out or anything!) and what better way to get ready than to start crackin' on some fun, photo project ideas for gifts. I'm not just talking about getting your picture printed on a coffee mug or mouse pad, but what are some fun, crafty projects you could do using a photo? You have until Thursday, November 5th to start working on something for October's challenge. This one could get a bit tricky, especially if it's a gift for someone that happens to read your blog. Feel free to share about past projects that you have done using photos or just spoil the surprise...your choice!
Here are some ideas that I have blogged about in the past if you're stumped on what I mean about using a photo for a craft project:
I can't wait to steal...I mean borrow some of the ideas that you all will share! Looking forward to our next linking up party on Thursday, November 5th. Spread the word...

I was too busy last month to add a craft project, but Christmas and photos I can do! I'm looking forward to it.
For those of you who are looking for ideas, here's a link to show an "exploding box" I did for Mother's Day - http://neverbored08.blogspot.com/2009/03/marchs-ufos-update.html (It's part of a hodge-podge entry, and the link to the instructions is in the last comment.)
Now, what should I do for Christmas?
Looks like y'all have been having some fall fun! I think we've stolen your rainy weather down here in the south. :(
I do take a lot of pictures...maybe I can come up with a fun photo craft!
Loved your collage pictures. How much fun you all had. I love fall too.
Congrats to Liz. She is so sweet!

Looks like you guys have been busy. We will start our pumpkin outings next week. I can't wait to see all the photo projects. I think the neatest thing we have done with photos is make Donnie a tie.
Hey Heidi! Love all the fun photos! Wish the rain would stop here this weekend so we can make it to the pumpkin patch!
Hope someday to join in on one of your craft projects! Ribbons has been way to long ago! Love ya friend!
You have an award over at my blog!
Those pics are great! It looks like you have been having some major fall fun! We haven't really gotten in the fall mood yet...probably because it is still 90 degrees outside!
What cute pictures Heidi. I love those collages. So fun! And congratulations to Liz!
I have a project for the next challenge. Yay! I am excited. Thanks for hosting such a fun party!
XOXO
Jen
What a lot of great pictures!
I am excited about your photo project challenge too. Better start thinking....
I was wondering, when you did Austin's monkey party did you find a source for buying only the banana runts or did you do a LOT of sorting? Planning a bit for the 1st birthday coming up in our house and wondered your secret:)
