I'm trying not to keep too many sweets around these days, but it seems like the cookie jar that I have on the counter always looks a little odd with nothing in it.
I thought it might be fun to fill it up with something different, so I put some Satsumas in it and the jar came alive! Now, instead of reaching for a cookie, I can have a healthier snack instead.
When the oranges are gone, what else do you think I could put in the jar instead of cookies?

conversation hearts... wait that's candy, but not very good candy. :)
hmmmm...
I have a glass container on my counter that I often put the clementines in too... so pretty and so yummy!
garlic could look cool... maybe swirled with some hot peppers?
a variety of tea bags?
different colored apples?
different varieties of onions?
baggies 100 cal snacks?
gum?
kashi bars?
okay... I'm out of ideas
I'm trying to replace the cookies also! It's just so hard:(
What a good idea! You could fill it with Kashi breakfast bars. they are tasty and healthy. Have a good night
Thanks, Sally, for the amazing ideas!!
