We're back...I think for good! And I'm ready to get going with a normal routine. Not that we haven't had a BLAST this summer, but I'm ready to start slowing down a bit. Due to a "shut down" at Ryan's work, he was forced to take 2 weeks off, so we crammed in our mini-vacations in these last two weeks, so it's been quite the whirlwind. We've LOVED having daddy around, so it will be a bit strange having him go back to work on Monday. Should be a bit of an adjustment for everyone. It's nice having that second hand to help out!
Here is the rest of the fun from the last week in picture collages (can you tell that's my new kick these days?)
Last Saturday, we went to our church picnic at Camp Tilikum. The kids had a blast "swimming" in the lake, exploring, and playing around the tree house. It felt so good to be back at Camp Tilikum. This is where I spent 3 of my college summers as a day camp staff person. Some of the best summers of my life!! I can't wait for the kids to experience day camp there in a few years.
Last Tuesday we headed up to my sister and family's in Washington. Tuesday night we went to Red Robin and just hung out and enjoyed having the cousins all together. On Wednesday, we headed to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. It started out as an overcast kind of day, but it turned into a gorgeous day.
The rest of our time there we hung out, played the Wii, watched TV, ate pizza, did NOTHING, rode bikes, played at the park, had lunch at McDonald's, and just enjoyed being with family!

You have had a SUPER fun and SUPER busy few weeks! I bet you are ready for things to slow down a little!
How fun. I am so looking forward to the fall activities to begin!! Glad the summer was a good time and you got to spend some time with Ryan.
How fun that you all were able to have some fun time away. Sounds like a great way to end the summer.
Looks like a great summer! I know what you mean about having dad home-Paul's been home the last month and just went back today-and I miss him already!
