let's get crafty!

For Things I Love Thursday over at The Diaper Diaries, I want to share with you my LOVE for creating.

I love to create in many different ways...cards, scrapbooking, home decor, kid projects, baking (not too good with this one), and pretty much everything else in between!

One of my favorite crafting tools right now is this circle scalloped punch...

Oh my! This little piece of crafty goodness has potential for so many projects!! I just bought it a couple of months ago with a JoAnn's gift card I had gotten for Christmas (in other words...free!). I have the 2" punch (as shown) made by EK Success - Paper Shapers, but I believe there are many different companies that sell these scalloped punch (like Stampin' Up!) I haven't used it much, but I've seen a lot of fun projects that I definitely can't wait to dive into!!

Like these adorable things that Missy from Simply Red (my new blogging buddy!) created during Valentine's. I wish I would have come up with this!!

And seriously, how cute are these over-night guest goodies created by Theresa at Crafting the Web? A-maz-ing!!

Hello cuteness?? Check out these summertime fun craftiness by Anne at Stamping with Blue Moon Creations.

On top of these kinds of projects, there are so many card examples that can be created using the scalloped punch that I just can't wait to sit down and go to work!

So, let's get our craft on!

Do you have a circle scalloped punch?
I want to see what you come up with!
Don't worry...I'll give you 2 weeks
to brainstorm and create.
Come back here on
Thursday, March 5th with your project in a blog post (new or old) and link up with the rest of us to share what you have created.
There might just be some sort of giveaway...
oh yeah, you heard me right!
Spread the word if you will...can't wait to see!

If you're not too much into crafts (and that's OK!), you can still share what you love and head on over to The Diaper Diaries for Things I Love Thursday to tell us all about!

Well, I am totally not crafty so I wouldn't have the first clue what to do with that thing. My SIL, however, would rock that sort of tool.

I don't have that particular punch but I have tons of others so I might just make something anyways for fun! I have gotten out of the habit of scrapbooking and I really miss it. This might be just what I need to get me started again!

I just bought two different sized scalloped punches to make toppers for cupcakes...it was so fun to see all the ideas you've found...I'm especially crazy about the little popsicle cards!

Darling...very fun!

You rock Heidi! Thanks so much for the Sisterhood Award. I have enjoyed your blog and all your inspiration. I have some organizing projects to do because you so inspire me with yours. I look forward to more blogging buddiness! You're so sweet to link to me on your post too. I'll have to see if I can come up with something else or what older things I have with my scalloped punch. Enjoy yours. So fun! That's funny, I'm posting about a crafty tool today as well.

I have that punch too Heidi and I just love it! I have the stamp set in both the first and third set too... maybe you can come over and we can craft together! I did make tags to put on mugs full of candy with mine this year for Valentine's. But I didn't get a photo. :(

I am going to get one of those punches. I can see so many uses for it. I've totally been out of the scrapbooking loop, I'll have to get back in. :) They have such neat tools now.

I am a Creative Memories tools gal, but I have to say I LOVE that scallop circle punch. My mom bought it for me and I use it for everything.
I will have to brainstorm a craft to participate. Is it possible for me to add your cute graphic button to my blog to help you get the word out?

I am ridiculously uncrafty. I want to be crafty, but it just isn't in me. I buy these sorts of things and then they sit with all my other unused craft supplies. Someday.... :)
