Are you looking for a fun and easy way to give a little treat to say "I love you" for Valentine's Day?
Over the weekend, I made a batch of these yummy little treats. Of course, we all know how simple it is to make some rice krispie treats, so to make these more festive, I added a few drops of red food coloring to the marshmallow mixture and spread it in a large cookie sheet. I added some red sprinkles on top to make the red pop out a little more. Then I used a heart shaped cookie cutter to create almost a dozen hearts.
I placed each heart in a clear baggie and tied it off with a cute little pink gingham ribbon.
I ended up giving these to my family for a sweet and simple way to say Happy Valentine's Day!
And, because I usually don't create many things without seeing the idea first, I found this idea on the Family Fun website. (I love this site!)

I love these! So cute wrapped in the cello. I'll have to keep this idea! Thanks for sharing.
cute & yummy!
These are so cute. I did a Valentine's/Rice Krispie treat a few years ago with my older kids. We made the treats and then smooshed them into a funnel. Then wrapped up them with aluminum foil and you put a long tag inside that says Happy Valentine's Day. They look just like a big Hershey's kiss. The kids all loved them.
Those are very cute and I love the gingham ribbon! That is such a sweet gift!
these are SO cute wrapped up like that! I'm gonna have to go and buy rice krispies now!
Thanks for these treats. We loved them!
