monday morning blues

Don't worry, we're not down in the dumps around the house this morning (despite a couple of colds)...we're seeing blue (and purple) for Muffin Tin Monday!

This week's muffin tin theme (blue and purple) challenged me to get pretty creative with coming up with something for the menu, but I loved it! We went with a breakfast tin this morning in honor of our once a week "change of pace" to the daily meal routine.

I was even excited about getting up just to do this. And, if you were to ask my husband, this is extremely unusual for me! It's the little things in life, I suppose...

What's in our muffin tin?
raisin-cinnamon bagel with blue cream cheese, blueberries, purple Fruity Cheerios, blueberry muffin, and a blueberry-raspberry smoothie (in a blue cup with a purple straw, of course)
