mod podge mania!

So, how late is too late to come to a party? I guess we'll find out!!

Mod Podge Mania snuck up on me this month and I completely forgot about it until I headed on over to Xazmin's blog to say hi and realized that Sunday was the day to share our Mod Podge creations! Thankfully, I had some projects that I already wanted to share, so I didn't have to whip out anything last minute. I just hadn't gotten around to posting about them yet with the beautiful sunshine blaring at me to get off the computer (well, that and my exhaustion and lack of wanting to do ANYTHING productive yesterday!)

The first project I can't take credit for because it was made FOR me for Mother's Day by my sister-in-law, Kristen. It is a Mod Podge Memory Game using pictures of our family. Isn't it adorable?! Kristen also gave one to my mother-in-law. I love gifts that are both crafty and fun to do with the family. Mikayla loves to match, so this is something fun we can all do together!

Each of the squares is a 2x2 chipboard square (you can buy them pre-cut in packages)
with decorative paper Mod Podged on one side and a picture on the other.

The next projects were something I made for the Craft it Forward I hosted on my blog a few weeks ago. These are plain white frames with decorative paper Mod Podged over the top to give it a fun look!

I have another project that I've been working on that involves Mod Podge, but I wanted to save it until it's complete, so I'll probably wait until the next party at the end of June...if I remember!!

Also, big announcement: This month's craft challenge has been POSTPONED until NEXT THURSDAY, JUNE 11th!! Keep working on those MONOGRAM projects (or dig into your blog archives and find one to share) and come back on June 11th to share with everyone. I'm contemplating taking the summer off for the craft challenges since it's usually full of nice weather (playing outside) and family vacations...what do you all think?

Cute game! I love it!
The frames turned out nicely.
I think it is a good idea to wait for Sept. for the craft challenge. The summer is usually very busy for all!

I'm stoked we're going to have an extra week, I thought of something really good but not until LAST NIGHT. I wouldn't have had enough time to get it together *L*

Love the frames! I have my monogram project done, can't wait for the 11th!
You're right summer might be a good time for a break, but if you want to continue that'll work too!

a summer break makes sense - I also need to let that sunshine call me and get off my duff. I still need to give the modge podge a try... perhaps I can do something with it and still get out a monogram entry. hmmmmmmmmm

I love those frames. I did another clipboard and soon I'll have to expand my Mod Podging to other things.

Your frames turned out adorable, and the memory game is so clever!

Thanks for playing!

I'm still racking my brain for the perfect monogram project...I'm glad I get a little more time!

Love your mod podge projects. My monogram project(which for the first time ever I didn't wait for the last minute to do...) uses Mod Podge and believe it or not it was the first time I've ever bought/used it!! Fun!!!
But, I guess I'll wait until the 11th to share:)
I think summer off is a good idea! It will give us all something to look forward to when you start back up in the fall.

Oh thank you for giving us an extra week! I finally figured out what I want to do but need to pick up a few things tomorrow. I was thinking I wasn't going to make it until Friday so now I have a little bit more time. I promise not to procrastinate and actually work on it like it was "due" Thursday. I think the summer off would be a great idea. I can barely keep up with blogging let alone do anything crafty!

Love those frames especially the blue floral one!

Cute stuff! Gotta love the Mod Podge!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I know how it is when you get busy. My blogging has to take a backseat sometimes, even though I do enjoy it. Have a good day.

I think I told you I was going to, but I actually bought some Mod Podge a couple months ago. Of course I haven't had the chance to do anything with it, nor did I know exactly what project to start with on my adventure into Mod Podging, but now I know! I love, love both these ideas and, maybe I'm being overconfident here, but they seem doable for me! I love the memory game as a gift and plan to try that for my niece's birthday!
