First, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you who left me a comment on Friday after finding out we had to postpone the party due to sickness in our house. They truly made my day!! Thankfully, Mikayla and I got over our sickness within 24 hours and we were back to normal by Saturday afternoon...even a little before.
Thanks to the flexibility of our family, we were able to reschedule the party to Sunday early afternoon. Even my sister and her family visiting from Washington for the weekend was able to stick around another day to help us celebrate Mikayla's birthday!
In the end, God knew what he was doing (as always) because Sunday turned out to be gorgeous and most of the party was spent outside enjoying the sun! Mikayla was blessed by all of the gifts and she enjoyed being able to be with her cousins.
Lots more to share later once I unwind and clean up from today's events, but here's a sneak peek of my sweet girl blowing out her candle. Yes, I completely spaced that since she is turning three she should have had THREE candles. Details. I tell ya'. Details.
