play room pick up

I'm barely squeezing in today's Tackle it Tuesday, but is it seriously my children's mission to empty every last container in the play room? Usually it doesn't happen quite like this, but I'm thinking that Mikayla might be just trying to "help" me with my Spring cleaning! The funny thing about this is that their ultimate goal was to fill an upside down umbrella with their toys. I think they got a little carried away! The upside? I was able to go through their toys and organize a pretty good system for what toys go where. Now, I'm motivated to make some labels for the bins!

please excuse the girl with no clothes on...
this is how this 3-year old "rolls" while at home!

What'd I do, mom? I'm completely innocent.

BEFORE

AFTER

There's so much more to tackle,
but this one just had to be done!

GREAT Job! Don't you just love when the kids try to help. You did a great job on pushing through. I am always amazed at all of the toys I find!
Have a great day!

Looks like a familiar task! :) Is your still clean, mine is not!

It's funny but I didn't even notice there was a rug under there until I saw the last picture. Don't worry, you are not alone - our play room looks like that every day. Sometimes Maya helps clean-up but it is usually me doing it at the end of the day. typink

I agree with Sarah. Lately I have been so overwhelmed with the diasters in each room that my brain has frozen and I can't seem to move forward. Your room looks awesome. My kids do that too, they have a tent and their only goal with it, is to fill it up.

SO glad my daughter is not the only one that prefers to be in panties all day when she's at home. We're constantly saying Go Get Dressed!

Any reason is a good reason to use a label maker. Love the room, very colorful.

Wow! You are good! I need to do this in our playroom-right now it's so bad, want to come over????

I"ve actually made our playroom look worse because I've been cleaning out my sewing area to combine it with the school room. So, that's my major project for the next several weeks....

Great job! It's making me look twice at my son's toys which are strewn everywhere! Where did you find the blue/green toy box, shelves, and rug? I love them!

Looks fabulous! Great job mama! Also...my 2 year old is always naked. I guess it's more comfy when you have no inhibitions about your body!

Why oh why do they dump all of their toys out like that?! It makes me crazy. Mine have even pulled the sheets off of their beds.
